ABOUT
I am a creative who is empathetic and encouraging as a team member, mentor and friend. I make sense of the world through art, music, design and adventure.
I love to ask questions and relish being a visual shapeshifter in a variety of ways. Always looking for a new project or activity, I’m endlessly curious about the world. Whether it’s writing a song, cooking and baking (cake and pasta!), learning a new language, finding a new hiking trail, or trying to play tennis (emphasis on trying), I want to experience what the world has to offer, document and process it through creative avenues to share with others.
I am passionate about all things creative, my community, the outdoors and my dog, Jack.

ruxandra
Having honed my skills playing in bands in Los Angeles, I now make self-described “complex slow-jam bummers” under my Romanian first name: ruxandra. I work with densely layered instruments and vocals that have a nostalgic bent.
Movies In Color
Before the onslaught of Movie Palette, Color Palette Cinema and color/movie related websites, I started Movies In Color in 2007 after watching the Skyfall and falling in love with Roger Deakins’ iconic cinematography and vibrant color work.
Drawing
I am compelled by the amount of color and detail that flowers contain so I started working on large scale colored pencil drawings to play with scale, color and technique. You can see them as prints and on a variety of items at my society6 store.
